Felton, California · Organic since 2005

A slice of the
redwoods

Hand stretched organic dough, local toppings, and cold mountain draft beer, served under the big trees on Highway 9.

Organic since the trees were younger

Evan Borthwick opened Redwood Pizzeria in 2005, tucked into the redwoods of Felton. Since 2007 the dough and marinara have been 100 percent organic and vegan, and the kitchen has carried a Certified Green Restaurant badge ever since. None of that is the headline. The crust is.

Pull up to the psychedelic mural out back, say hi to the Bigfoot at the door, grab a rotating local draft, and settle into the knotty-pine warmth. Locals call it the neighborhood gem. Road-trippers call it the reason they pulled off Highway 9.
